The Luchtsingel, the world’s first crowd funded public infrastructure, is now open. I Make Rotterdam, Maxwan Architecten, and Zones Urbaines Sensibles collected donations to make to make the wooden pedestrian bridge.

Designed by ZUS, the 400-meter-long pedestrian bridge reconnects three districts in the heart of Rotterdam with new public spaces including the Delftsehof, Dakakker, Pompenburg Park, and the Hofplein Station Roof Park, forming a three-dimensional cityscape.
